Perfect / Soft Cover Binding London
Perfect binding uses a single piece of thick paper or card as a cover which is wrapped around the inside pages. The pages are bind together using hot glue. The cover can be customised by printing your design on it.
We usually print the perfect binding cover on thick paper or card up to 300 gsm. Your design can be printed on the front or can spread over the front and back of the cover.
Laminating of the cover is possible, please ask for details.
Using the perfect binding method, we can bind documents of A5, A4 and A3 size.
A4 and A3 documents can be bound either on the short or on the long edge.
We normally need 24 hours for printing and perfect binding.
If you need urgent printing and perfect binding, please contact us. We may be able to offer printing and same day perfect binding.
Once your documents are printed and bound, you can collect them from our Central London printing centre.
We also offer a same day courier service to London postcodes or standard delivery service to the rest of the UK.

Printing and perfect binding
If you need printing and perfect binding, you can visit us at Kings Cross, Central London or email us your files and let us know:
- if you need colour or black and white printing
- if you need single- or double-sided printing
- your paper choice (thickness of paper, matt or silk)
- if you want your document printed full bleed
- – what paper/card you would like for the cover (thickness, silk or matt)

Please, note that an order is considered placed only after the payment has been received. You can arrange the payment in person, over the phone or online.
The preferred file format for your documents is PDF.
Ideally, your document should be designed with a resolution of 300 dpi. All important information should be placed 1-2 cm off edge and minimum 2 cm off the binding edge.
If your documents need to be printed full bleed, they should have a bleed of 3 mm.
We stock a wide range of paper and card. Choose paper or card with a thickness of 80 gsm to 350 gsm with silk or matt finish.
